Visit the Beaches

As the hottest month of the year, the sea breeze and soft white sand sound pretty good. For the days you’re ready to venture away from your luxury villa and explore the beaches, we’ve rounded up three of the quieter shores so you can experience the best of the island while escaping the peak season crowds.

Cala San Vicente

Like many of the island’s beaches, Cala San Vicente is home to a curve of golden sand, clear waters and a lively promenade. Despite boasting several quality bars and restaurants, beautiful views and a rugged clifftop lookout, you’ll usually find a spot even on the busiest days.

Cala Tarida

Nestled in a sheltered bay of the little resort that is Cala Tarida, you’ll find a tranquil beach ideal for family days out. Thanks to its turquoise waters, hidden coves and water sports, you could easily spend your days here.

Es Portitxol

If you’re in search of peace and quiet, make your way to Es Portitxol. The small yet stunning beach is surrounded by hills and pinewoods, offering a real escape from the hustle and bustle of Ibiza in August. It is also one of our favourite spots for an early morning hike.

Experience the Beach Clubs

With the island's most in-demand beach clubs bursting at the seams in August, there’s no better time to check out some of the slower-paced yet equally impressive beach clubs of the white isle.

Chiringuito Blue

Set along the white sands of Santa Eulalia Bay, Chiringuito Blue is a chilled venue offering an escape from the crowds. If you’re in search of a vibrant dining experience blending fresh food and a drinks menu to match, look no further.

If you’re ready to venture out after a day by the pool, Cotton Beach Club is one of the most beautiful spots on the island for late-night dining and sunset cocktails. The all-white restaurant and rooftop ooze sophistication and relaxation, you’d struggle to find a better sundown location.

La Torre Restaurant

The beautiful La Torre Restaurant is perched at the top of a cliff in San Antonio, providing fantastic views out to sea. From here, you can catch a glimpse of Conejera Island, making it an ideal spot for those looking to grab a bite to eat whilst watching the sunset.

There are three different seating areas in the restaurant, all of which boast an excellent coastal position. With the main terrace, a covered area and an upstairs viewpoint, there’s no better place to indulge in mouthwatering cuisine than La Torre. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a trip here is a great choice any time of the day.
