1. Portinatx Beaches
These popular beaches offer impressive panoramic views, crystal clear tranquil waters, high, rocky shorelines and perfect fine white sand.
Known as one of Ibiza’s best known beauty spots, this small resort Portinatx, made up of three beaches, S’Arenal Gros, S’Arenal Petit and Playa Porto, is a popular stop when touring the island, you can easily enjoy yourself here for a day or two. You will even find a lighthouse at Playa Porto Beach and from here you can enjoy the long scenic walks and wonderful views. This is not just a beautiful place, it is a family friendly, the beaches are all perfectly safe for children due to the calm waters, and they offer a variety of water sports to keep the whole family entertained. You will also find many shops in Portinatx. This is a great place to visit in the busy month of August as it is not as noisy or busy as the other Ibiza beaches.

2. Puerto de San Miguel Beach
A small deep, curved fine shingle beach, cut off by pine covered hills which are great for walks, if you don’t mind a little climb.
Puerto de San was once the fishing port of the lovely village of San Miguel. It consists of shingle which gently shelves into the shallow, calm and crystal clear waters that suits swimmers and windsurfers. A great place to relax after visiting the Can Marça caves as it is nicely cut off from the island’s foam parties, having said that it can sometimes get quite busy, so if you want to secure a spot, do get there early. Another appealing selling point to add is the lovely suntrap.

3. Benirrás Beach
A medium sized bay, well known for its off-the-cuff drumming concerts, it is one of Ibiza’s most talked about beaches.
A pretty beach consisting of pebbly sand, surrounded by pine hills, with rocks either side , topped with a beautiful view across the water where you can see a fascinating rock formation (worth a see!). The rocky seabed and unbelievably clear water makes it great for snorkelers. This bay is a popular anchoring spot for private yachts and motor boats who like to enjoy the sunset at the end of the day. Drummers also travel to the beach to drum down the sunset, this is a somewhat usual Ibiza experience, which has been around for many years. This beach is popular due to its atmosphere and scenery, beware as it can get very busy during peak season. This beach is very popular with families, bohemian hippy individuals and Ibiza’s northern community. You’ll also find plenty of animals running around!
