Can Valis was inspired by various architectural and design aesthetics from around the world including Le Courbusier´s passion for concrete and Barragan´s dramatic use of colour. The house is constructed with modern clean lines, with a strong emphasis on white throughout. Steel, concrete and glass have been used throughout to create an inspiring and unique experience. Think Miami meets LA.
The house is located near San Agustí on the west coast of Ibiza, a 5 minute drive to San José, 15 to Ibiza Airport and Ibiza Town. San José beaches can be reached within 15 minutes. The surrounding area is now a fully protected conservation area under Ibizan law. It provides privacy and boasts many fantastic, fully signposted walking and cycling routes in the vicinity.
The living and dining room give spectacular views of the surrounding hills, the harbour and the Mediterranean beyond. The living area is a large rectangular room, with views on 3 sides, a private balcony and external access to the pool deck and gardens below.
