BOOM IBIZA – The brand new nightclub Boom Ibiza in the former premises of mythical ancient nightclubs such as Angel’s, Penelope and Heaven, opened this July 15, 2013 under the direction of former director of Pacha Danny Whittle to claim a new space at Ibiza nights. Boom, with a capacity for 1.000 people, is been struggling hard to become one of the new references in the music scene the island since it op+ened in the middle of the season. The club owned by Giuseppe Cipriani has centred the effort in programming quality parties and events during the season, a formula that has already started attracting a good bunch of loyal clubbers so far.
ELEMENTS – In one of the most bohemian an iconic beaches of Ibiza we find this restaurant, lounge bar, treatment and massage room and boutique. Elements in Cala Benirrás perfectly represents the essence of the island. Decorated with style and recycled materials, studied lighting and excellent music selection. It is a special place to enjoy with family, friends, and the usual Ibiza crowd. It is a place where nature blends into a space overlooking the mythical sunsets of this northern side of Ibiza.
SACCA – Located in the former Aura premises on the road to Sant Joan it offers a sure winning formula mixing deliciously well presented asian food, attentive staff, great spacious decor, cool ambient and brilliant music. On their first year, while customer reviews have been excellent throughout the summer, they have been collaborating with already established and successful venues such as Richie Hawtin´s ENTER Experience. We’re sure they have arrived not only to stay, but to become one of the important references on the island and to enrich its already superb gastronomical offer.
ANTS AT USHUAIA – Saturdays at Praia d’en Bossa have seen the success of a venue that the Ibiza clubbers have definitely bought into this summer. The Ants formula, instead of relying on a single established DJ opted to gather a collective of talented DJs and producers that have been bubbling under and invest in their ability. A good prove of that is the nomination of several of them at the Dj Awards as best newcomers of the season (finally one of them, UNER, was the brilliant winner). The choice proved hugely popular causing “the colony” to grow as the season unfolded. A clever marketing campaign coupled with a solid idea for what the party should be captured the imagination of the clubbing masses that headed to the island. We’re already counting the days for the start of their next season.
