Markets
Las Dalias, San Carlos
Hand made boots sit along side, beaded bags and children’s toys. Live music and several eating and drinking zones keep the men happy. The night market on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (and Sundays in August) during the summer is particularly atmospheric.
Go for: Funky music, World Family bags, jewellery, unique gifts and the kid’s carousel.
Cala Llenya Flea Market, San Carlos
Secondhand paradise. Vintage designer shoes vie for space amongst hoary costume jewellery and sunglasses from the 80s. The scene is eclectic and laidback.
Go for: Vintage finds, bargain hunting, rare vinyl.
San Juan Market
The real deal – longhaired hippies free dancing to live music. Artisanal products such as homemade breads, locally made soaps, and clothing. The best coffee on the island is available from the Cafés Meke stand right in the middle.
Go for: The coffee, the music, and Ibiza’s true hippie vibe.
