Ibiza’s status as a party destination has its roots in the 1970s with the arrival of disco and the opening of the very first club in Ibiza. Throughout the rave movements of the 1980s and the house music craze of the 1990s, more and more music and dance venues opened and many famous DJs played for crowds on the island, and for the past decade or so Ibiza has been the undisputed party capital of the European continent.
There’s plenty to choose from when it comes to evenings and nights out in Ibiza, even if classic club nights aren’t really your style. Where to Go Clubbing in Ibiza

Playa d'en Bossa
Playa d'en Bossa is Ibiza’s most popular resort and the most famous area for partying on the entire island. Located on the southeast coast along the longest beach in Ibiza, it’s close to the capital city of the island and where you’ll find many of the best club nights and major events happening across the year.
Towards the south end of the beach, you’ll find sophisticated and exclusive beach bars and clubs, whilst in the north and the centre of the area are classic bars and clubs offering a range of nightlife to suit all tastes. The legendary open-air club Ushuaïa is located in Playa d'en Bossa and a lot of the top-rated boat parties leave from the beach as well.
San Antonio
Sant Antoni de Portmany, referred to as San Antonio by the majority of visitors, is the second most popular resort on the island and another hub of nightlife. The coastal town has a long stretch of beach, a picturesque promenade and a stylish marina, but also a buzzing party scene that includes a great collection of bars and nightclubs.
The best-known part of San Antonia for partying is the Sunset Strip or “Ses Variades”, which connects Caló des Moro beach with the harbour and is lined with lively bars and venues. The sunsets are notoriously fantastic, so you can expect it to be buzzing with life from the early evening.
