El Bigote
A short stroll around the rocks from the cove of Cala Mastella reveals one of the island’s oldest and most authentic dining experiences. Formerly a lunch stop for fisherman, El Bigote only has two sittings so be sure to book in advance. The first at midday serves a mix of grilled fish while the second showcases the traditional dish of Bullet de Peix, a saffron flecked stew of fish and potatoes, followed by a rice cooked in the stock, all enjoyed in cosy proximity to the crystalline waters.
