A lovely house set in approximately 2 acres of garden with four en-suite bedrooms.  The property enjoys a south facing elevated position leading onto a small horseshoe bay with seasonal swimming and boogie boarding. The beach is accessed via the private gate and a short 15 yard stroll.

Blue Villas was designed by leading architect Amila De Mel, who worked with the great, Geoffrey Bawa for many years. Constructed in 2008 the house is modern and minimalist in style, keeping in mind certain characteristics of vernacular architecture.  It is set on elevated gardens among coconut palms and has direct access to the beach below.

The built up area is almost 7000 sq feet - out of which 1500 sq feet is open verandas - and the villa consists of two buildings. A single story house of linear design consisting of an ensuite double bedroom, a sitting room/study, the kitchen and has a wide open veranda running its' full length, at one end of which sits the family dining table.

The second building is a two story villa containing the remaining 3 ensuite bedrooms. The master suite is upstairs and has access to a private sun deck that overlooks the gardens and out to sea. The remaining ensuite bedrooms - a double and a twin bed room - are on the ground floor and have french windows that lead to the garden.

The plot size is approx 1.5 acres and slopes down to the sea. The view from the villa is as lovely as it is unique. The gardens are spectacular enough for wedding ceremonies, with more than enough space for guests.
