Trip request:
Our London client wanted a weekend break in Chamonix with traditional chalet accommodation, to ensure the group integrated regularly but with one day of activities that left them breathless and enable them to experience the best of the Chamonix valley.
Location and accommodation:
Chamonix, France. All quests were lodged in an 8 bedroom chalet with 250 sqm of living space, open fire and fantastic views of the surrounding peaks:
The Aiguille and Mont Blanc.

Trip format:
Collected by minibus at 7:30am from the chalet and driven to Les Contamines, 35 minutes away, for a morning of training from our team of guides and instructors. After the morning's instruction we were met at 11:30 by three helicopters for a 30-minute flight back up the Chamonix valley passing Mont Blanc, the needles of the Aiguille, the famous Dru and finally down the Mer de Glace and Argentière glaciers. Only metres away from landing, ready prepared, was our rugged log cabin where we dined on a range of traditional Savoyard dishes leaving us all with plenty of energy to challenge the Argentière ski area in the afternoon. Not wanting to deprive our guests of the Chamonix nightlife and the 14-course meal which awaited at a local Chamonix restaurant with two Michelin stars, they were revived later in the day by 3 hours of massage and relaxation at the fabulous Maison Carrier spa. Phew! What a day.
